Information 1) What is McTedo Programming?McTedo Programming is a company designed to create programs for both Windows desktops and Windows PDA's, and to distribute them for FREE.  Return to Top2) Why do we give out programs FREE? Because we are nice people, and we think it's a shame to have to pay for it!!! Return to Top3) What do I do if I have a problem with a program? We are a company which distributes free programs, so we don't have contact phone numbers or anything. Why not try the Forum? Return to Top4) I would like a certain program. How do I request it? You can't. Sorry! If you know the programmers themselves you can ask, but in general we don't make programs on demand. Return to Top5) How do I report a problem on the website? We are currently developing a system of flagging a page to the writers attention. Not done yet :) Return to Top6) I am confused with download instructions for PDA's. To find out your type of processor, you have to look up the PDA you have, and look in a review. Examples are ARM and SH3. Return to Top7) Why do you "Recommend" Firefox? Firefox is a secure, fast, clever, helpful and fun web browser. You can download extentions, themes and more with it. The major feature is Tabbed Browsing, soon to come in Windows Internet Explorer 7, and currently available within the MSN Toolbar. Return to Top8) What is an XML Feed? An XML or RSS feed can be read using an RSS Reader. Firefox has this ability with Live Bookmarks. Other examples are Sharpreader. Return to Top9) What is an Atom Feed? An Atom feed can be read using an AtomReader. At the moment we don't have any examples of these as RSS is more common. Return to Top10) What is a Klip? This is a special type of feed like RSS and Atom, and can be read by Klipfolio. Return to Top11) What are MSN Alerts? If you have MSN Messenger, you can subscribe to these alerts, and whenever a news post is made on McTedo Programming a double size popup comes up like a normal "... has signed in" dialog. You can get MSN Messenger from the MSN Website, and your own Alerts from MSN Alerts. Return to Top12) Why does your website change daily? We like to make things different when you look, so the bar across the centre changes colour daily, along with the planet at the top too. Key: Mon = Jupiter (Blue Bar) Tue = some Blue thing (Purple Bar) Wed = Earth (Blue Bar) Thu = Moon (Purple Bar) Fri = Jupiter (Blue Bar) Sat = can't remember (Purple Bar) Sun = either Universe or Galaxy (Purple Bar) Return to Top13) Which Time Zone is the Date & Time for? GMT, Daylight Saving Time accomodated for. That's because McTedo Programming is based in England. Return to Top14) Who hosts your website? Powweb. It works out at around £4 a month (+ the cost for domain). Please use this link » for Powweb's site if you want to make an account as we get $15 credit on our bill... and we do give you free programs after all. Return to Top15) I noticed the Address for Netpioneer Yes, Netpioneer is hosted on McTedo Programming's site, as the two Managing Directors are friends. No money changes hands for this, and we aren't hosting anybody else's sites! Return to Top16) Why are you affiliated with Netpioneer? As both the owners of the companies are friends, we are each helping each other by advertising the other site to you, so you can see the similar ranger of products (free on this site, mainly free on Netpioneer) on offer. Return to Top17) Does McTedo Programming change on special days? Yes, McTedo Programming will normally change the picture of a planet / constallation to another image for special days. In addition, in December, there is a special Menu Bar Colour, special Advert, the orange background behind the title at the top changes and the web browser text is replaced. Special Occasions: Christmas New Year Halloween Bonfire Night Owner's Birthday More to come... Return to Top18) Can I disable the changes made by the Special Occasions script? No. Just wait until the day / time period is over. In the case of Christmas (the longest special occasion) the festive design lasts all December. Return to Top
